Flash Container Approval - Aesculap
Aesculap receives FDA approval to allow flash sterilization of solid bottom containers. Now I do not support routine flash sterilization, however here is a cost effective method utilizing a product that you may already own. New yellow locks and tags identify the containers which will have a 24 hour shelf life. Moisture in the container is sterile and poses no problem according to their validation.
We will start using them mid January 09, so check back see how well they work.
